History of ANZ
The Australia and New Zealand Banking Group Limited, also known as ANZ, has a solid history of providing banking and other financial services for over one hundred seventy years. ANZ began in London in 1835 as The Bank of Australasia. Over the years, with several mergers and consistent growth, ANZ has become a leader in the financial industry in Australia, New Zealand, the South Pacific, and Asia. Over four million customers currently trust ANZ for their financial needs, making ANZ the fourth largest bank in Australia and the largest bank in New Zealand. There are ANZ branches in twenty-six other countries besides Australia and New Zealand.

ANZ has financial services and products for both individuals and businesses. ANZ strives to accommodate each customer’s needs and exceed expectations. The technology used by ANZ is continually updated in order to keep pace with the latest in financial services.
